From Sleep Like a Tiger

Today I put together a children's book display - a book display of many many books that won awards for being culturally relavent, creative, beautifull illustrated, wittily worded, and just being wonderful stories.

It is my goal to write a children's book some day.

Carmen, Park in Queen Anne, WA

Babysitting is a fun thing in the Spring.

1. Get them out of the house.
2. Pack snacks.
3. Find a large expanse of field and/or a tree for said small individuals.
4. Settle down with your book.

Things of note:
The girls asked if I was 160. The answer was "try again".
They caught a leprechaun last night. He is in fact a red head and turned the toilet water green.
How does one explain to a six year old what a square root is? What six year old want to know?
They also wanted to know if my boyfriend likes me and also if I kiss him...on the lips. I do. (gross)
All they wanted for lunch was five packets of seaweed and then they made me dance to Ricky Martin.

Never a dull moment.
