BEHOLD! The fruit of my labor.

 

We thought this was a pretty cute idea (thanks Write to Learn!) and perfect for post-finals season. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and I have to say being paid to cut paper and curl ribbon with McGraw twins is not half bad.

From Sleep Like a Tiger

Today I put together a children's book display - a book display of many many books that won awards for being culturally relavent, creative, beautifull illustrated, wittily worded, and just being wonderful stories.

It is my goal to write a children's book some day.

I overslept. My bus was late. It's so foggy and drizzly out today that it feels like day-time never quite made it.

But I have an excellent cup of coffee in my hands, and will spend my day with beautiful old books and wonderful people.

It's a good day to work at a library.
