I GOT SNAIL MAIL FROM D.C.! And then had a small fit because I was so excited...and a fit in this case usually looks like utter calm because I'm trying to prolong the experience of opening a letter (from Kelson no less) for as long as possible (I spent many minutes just looking at it curling my toes before slowly opening it with a letter opener aka. my house keys so as to not ruin the lovely script).
What a wonderful thing it is to read words in handwriting you know so well, words that are encouraging, and newsy, and a solid reminder of what amazing friendships I'm blessed with.
